Is it possible to save trial software to your computer?

I’ve in the field of Yacht Design, and want a program to use independently on my computer. The program is $3,000, a bit more than I want to spend. I can download a free 20 day trial? I don’t need anything complicated, is it possible to save the trial so I can use it when I need it?

Where can I find a 42ft yacht?
